Welcome to the English School at the Chelsea Centre

The English School at the Chelsea Centre, London World's End, Chelsea, London

Established at the Chelsea Theatre in 1985, the English School is a small, friendly English language school catering for adult students whose first language is not English. We offer high quality English courses in small classes - at a reasonable price.

We are based at the World's End in Chelsea, London SW10, on the famous King's Road within easy reach of Earls Court, Fulham and Battersea. Chelsea is well served by local transport and has excellent connections to London's West End and Central London. The River Thames and the green, open space of Battersea Park are within easy walking distance.

Our Courses

Class at the English School Chelsea, London

You can study either full- or part-time in our morning General English lessons. You will be placed in a class according to your level of English (from Elementary upwards). As part of the course, you will be prepared for Cambridge English exams. You can also improve your English with our part-time evening lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You can join our General English lessons at the beginning of any week in term time.

Our intensive IELTS test preparation courses run for 4 or 6 weeks (depending upon the option you choose). IELTS is an international qualification that measures your level of English and gives access to UK universities and careers. Each course is limited to 12 students.

We can also arrange one-to-one lessons if you require this.

All our teachers are fully qualified native speakers of English with many years' teaching experience in Britain and abroad.
